For New Years, my hubby and I headed out to the desert and met some friends to do some riding and celebrating. Since then (Yes, I do realize I am about a month late on this post), I have been working on my etsy shop, working on the blog (even though you can’t tell it as of right now) and on some re-furbishing projects.
“I DID NOT WANT TO REMEMBER THAT.”
“Alright. So, I leave, then you leave in fifteen minutes, and then…then this forgotten.”
“Man, that sun’s being a huge dickhead right now.”
“All I know is that we ended up racking up a $300 tab at a Belgian beer bar. This headache is the most expensive thing I own right now.”
In keeping with this weeks theme, here is an adorable idea to help up your street cred as the tooth fairy:
Here in Southern California, we haven’t really had too too many warm days that turn into warm nights. It’s mostly foggy mornings that turn into low 70′s days, that turn into what very closely resembles a winter night. I have not gone out in a tank top at night all summer. Total Bust!
My seasonal anxiety is already kicking in and I am ready to cook soups and fallish food, to enjoy some (seasonally appropriate) cold weather, and to start wearing my boots.
That being said, I find it necessary to write a letter:
Please come to Southern California. You know, the part of California that is below Northern California. To be more specific, the part that is on the Coast. I’d really appreciate it. I would very much like to be able to transition into fall having experienced at least a couple weeks of evenings spent sitting outside having a cocktail while not wearing a parka. Do your best, okay?
P.S. Sean and I still aren’t even close to being unpacked (after housesitting for a neighbor for 10 days and a week of backpacking). House is still a mess. Tons of posts, DIY projects, and pictures to come soon though.
I have a similar aesthetic when it comes to undergarments as I do for home decor…keep it simple, practical, and pretty. Oh and equally important in hoisery and home decor is another component…comfortable. I love that all these bra’s provide an element of all those things. Now if only I could get my husband to see the simple beauty in the Alexander Wang and La Garconne beauties.
With the onset of spring, I am dreaming of sending people whispy little cards telling them how much I love and miss them. These cards from Dutch Door Press would be perfect.
